Tatiana Kurenchakova

Tatiana Kurenchakova is a classical guitar player, the repeated winner and nominee of the international music competitions. With honours graduated Tatiana The Moscow Stage University of Culture and Arts (Bachelor of Music, guitar classes from Artyom Dervoed), Münster University of Music, WWU, Germany (Master of Music, guitar classes from Marcin Dylla). Tatiana completed a course at the Italia summer musical academy „Chigiana“ (guitar classes from Oscar Ghiglia) and participated in the master classes sought-after guitar players. Tatiana was awarded the ‘Hope of Kuzbass’ medal, and the Governor’s Prize for Cultural and Artistic Achievement.

The debut CD “Enshreined in Music” (“Artservis LTD”) received rave reviews from italic Magazines “Sei corde” and “Guitart”. Tatiana recorded Video on the 19th centuries guitars by Antonio de Torres, Rene Lacote, Genaio Battista Fabricatore in Italy and in famous Guitar Salon “Siccas” in Germany. In different years she was honoured to play with Artyom Dervoed, Alexey Skanavi, Zurab Sotkilava.

Since 2016 she has been leading her own educational project “The Classical Guitar: Music and History” – Within the framework of this project, concerts- lectures and video reports from museums of music (Barcelona, Saint- Petersburg, Milan) were organized. Tatiana gave workshops at the Brooklyn Conservatoire, at A. Skryabin Music college (Elektrostal, Russia), Music schools in Moscow, Kemerovo (Russia), regularly participates in musicological conferences. Tatiana worked as a teacher in Russia at the music school and at the music college, prepared winner of the International Youth Competition of Guitar Foundation of America and other international competitions.

The areas of creative activity encompass: solo performance, chamber music (duets with piano, vibraphone, violin), arrangements (include for chamber orchestra), scholarly research, educational project "Classical Guitar: Music and History" and teaching.
