Noah Thys

Noah Thys (°1992) is a composer and baritone from Ghent, Belgium. His work spans across different genres, from classical to video game music. He is active in vocal ensembles such as Ex Tempore, SAEVUS, The Ghent Singers, and the world-renowned Anúna.


In 2021, he was the opener for the 11th edition of the World Choir Games, in Antwerp, Belgium. In the subsequent edition of this festival, in Gangneung, South Korea, 2023, women's ensemble Amaranthe Oudenaarde (dir. Johannes Dewilde) won the competition with a programme that included his composition, Día tras día, written especially for the ensemble. Some of his collaborative efforts are also part of several museum collections, such as those of KMSKA (Antwerp), and Kunsthal (Ghent).
