Hans Vercauteren

Hans Vercauteren is a Belgian composer and conductor. He studied composition with Wim Henderickx and orchestral conducting at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, later completing an Artist Diploma in composition at the Royal College of Music, London. His work spans theatre, opera, ballet, and concert music for ensembles ranging from symphony orchestra to chamber groups. He frequently collaborates with Casco Phil, The Flemish Radio Choir, Brussels Philharmonic, and other ensembles, and works as a recording producer and music director for Motormusic. His compositions and productions often integrate theatrical and programmatic elements across concert, stage, and multimedia contexts.
